Complex & specialised care

Care that adapts.
Not a move away from home.

Many people assume that once care needs become significant, a care facility is the only option. It isn’t. Obatos supports people living with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and stroke recovery — and a wide range of other complex needs — in the comfort of their own home and community.

  • Personalised care plans, shaped by specialist assessment — for adults, children and young people
  • Medication support, mobility and hoisting, continence and skin care, delivered to each person’s Support Plan
  • Rehabilitation in partnership with clinical professionals, helping people reach their full potential

Hourly home care, daily home care, hospital to home care, respite care, specialised care, supported living and live-in care — delivered across Birmingham and Wiltshire, and available around the clock. Every service starts with a free assessment.

Simply call and speak to one of our friendly team, who will discuss the setup process and outline our packages. We then arrange a home visit for a free, no-obligation assessment — looking at needs, routines, and the environment. Once you’re happy, we set up your care package and introduce your care worker.

No. We believe independence is being in control of your decisions. Home care means keeping control of your activities while retaining as much independence as each situation allows. We actively encourage the people we support to become more self-reliant and to keep making their own choices — with just the help needed to stay safe and well.

Professional caregivers have chosen a career in the compassionate care of others. Every Obatos carer goes through comprehensive background checks and screening for identity, integrity and competence, followed by induction, Care Certificate training and ongoing supervision. Care workers follow each service user’s care plan, safeguarding principles and health and safety regulations.

Yes. We work with each family to understand the skills and personality they’d like in a caregiver, and we encourage client input in every match. If it isn’t the right fit, contact us and we’ll arrange another caregiver quickly, at no additional referral cost.

One of the leading causes of hospital readmission or slow recovery is a lack of proper support after discharge. Our hospital to home care supports the transition — whether straight home from hospital or through a rehabilitation facility — so recovery continues safely and comfortably at home.

A dedicated professional carer resides in your home, offering continuous support with daily tasks and care needs. Personalised care plans are developed following an in-depth assessment. It’s a comprehensive alternative to residential care for those who need full-time support, while staying in familiar surroundings.

We currently provide care across Birmingham — including the B1, B2, B3, B6, B7, B8, B16, B18, B19, B20, B33, B44 and B45 areas and surrounding districts — and across Wiltshire communities including Trowbridge, Melksham, Westbury, Corsham, Chippenham and Bradford-on-Avon. You can check your postcode in our coverage checker above, or just call — we’re always happy to talk.
